    Here's what i do,get a 3 pole key switch or one with ACC i use the key switch for a Ferguson50 it has the extra pole for the lights. #2 prong on alt. run short jumper wire to threaded post then post to key switch. #1 prong on Alt. run wire to key say the lights or acc. Power from key switch run...

    ferguson 20 startingould

    Not sure when my 8n was 6volt i needed 12volt to start it needed more cranking to build up enough compression to start, it needed 90lb. to start on 6volt not sure what the fregie needs.

    I don't understand what i might be doing wrong. My handle Trac when i used it, it would come up resereved name in red so thinking i'd like to post pics i better change it. Trac7 it came up green my first post now it's in red again am i doing something wrong your is that the norm.

    Homer i think you were on the wrong site make sure you put org. on the end because comm. will put you on the wrong site or try FENA home page.Look for resources than electrical wiring diagrams chances are they don't do alt. hook up If its a delco alt maybe i can talk you throw it i have done a few.

    Ok i think tony is on to something it does have a very long throat manifold to carb TVO maybe?

    After looking at photo a few times i just noticed the hood dog legs are one piece making that a TE as well.

    OK my turn TEA20 it has a long sweeping air intake pipe,manifold is for the standard engine. To many red and green tractors & the caddy to be any were but here in the U.S.

    mf 50 toe in

    Models F40-MH50-MF50 Tie rod ends are of the non adjustable,automobile type. Recommended toe-in of 0-1/4inch is adjusted by varying the length of the right hand tie rod. Quoted out of I&T shop manual.

    I don't think changing the pump back to the front will make a difference Have you tried it with the PTO off you might have better luck on the Massey Ferguson forum.

    My 50 is set at 1/4" drives great road/dirt.
