    I know all of them :). That was a fun day. Our two cases did pretty good. Billonthefarm was in the money as well. I saw Kruser sitting over on the bleachers but we never got to talk. That is one of the top pulls any where. Thanks for the great pics Jim.

    case 930 governor

    I have a case 930 governor. The parts book shows 3 weights on each set. Mine only has 1 weight on each side. Could this be causing the tractor not to want to slow down? Thanks

    I'm pretty sure no tractor ever came with an RD motor, but it gets argued about a lot. The w40 had a truck engine in it, but it wasn't an RD.

    1030 engine replacement options?

    We put a 504 out of a 4490 in a 1030, pretty easy job. Very little grinding, cut a hole for steering, and some linkage work for throttle. Makes good power and drives nice

    Mel is correct. The cam will be ground to my specs, or the cam grinder if he has something better. I just need the cam. I'm a little surprised it has been this hard to find

    Good machine shop search

    We built and pulled a 4.625x7 case dc with help from Mel Bennett. It ran really good and had a lot of fun with it. Make sure you beef up the back of the block. We didn't and it broke.
