    counter balance tractor

Dell made a very good sugestion. I use a barrel on my 9N to counter balance the front mounted snow plow. Took an approx. 16 gal barrel along with a piece of 1" rebar long enough to go through the barrel and fit into the lift arms on each side. Ground the ends of the rebar to 7/8" to fit into the...

    Leaking Radiator

Any chance you can find the leak and fix it while still on the tractor. I drove a stick into mine several years ago, near the top, drained the radiator and soldered it right on the tractor. No problem since then. Good luck. Ron

O.T. BS won't carry load on generator

Typicaly you double the running amps of a motor for the amount of amps it takes to start them. In this case it will take 22 amps to start the drill. Considerably more than the Coleman is capable of producing.

    OT - New bridge

Billy. Getting down to bedrock is ideal. However if I understand, your going to level off the bedrock with gravel for the 2400 lb blocks. If this is so then you may be creating a vulnerable spot by leveling with the gravel. I would consider leveling it off with concrete then tie the base...

    OT water heater

John, it sounds like you only enough hot water to wash up with. If that is so, why not just get an electric on demand hot water heater that sits under the sink. It only heats the water when you turn the faucet on. Saves on energy and is cheaper to purchase at least in my area. Ron

    how much snowplow blade

Ed, I have a Dearborn front mount snow plow on my 9N and the blade is approx. 5'6" and it is plenty. When angled it plowes like a pickup truck or better. I plow around our camp and almost a 5 mile drive into camp. 6' sounds about right judging from my experience. Ron

Jon. Thanks, I run my camp on 12 volts, using 6 volt Golf Cart batteries necessitating a lot of good charging equipment. The small lead acid battery that came with the battery pack is 6 volt and of course the golf cart and tractor batteries are 6 volt, just more amps. For whatever ill concieved...

O.T. 6 volt game camera battery

Bob, thanks for getting with me so quick. If I understand you correctly and I repeat, Having a larger sized 6 volt battery with way more amps will not burn out the game camera. Great and thanks again. I will be taking the battery pack back to Gander Mt. tomorrow for a refund.

O.T. 6 volt game camera battery

Bought a 6 volt battery back for my game camera today. Consisting of a lead acid battery, QP6-10(6V10Ah/20Hr) Charger output is 9VDC@720mA,initial current less than 3.0A. I would like to use one of three 6 volt golf cart battery's I have, rated at 220 Amps or a 6volt tractor battery that is good...
