    TO-20?

I've got a 1955 TED-20 which has 4-00 x 19 rims / tyres on it. They look like half an Oreo, they're so skinny :D

Which is the Right Side on a TEA 20?

Hi Ian When you're on the seat, right arm is right-hand side of tractor, and obviously left arm would be left-hand side. Another way of looking at it would be left foot to clutch, and right foot to foot-brake

Small hijack... That tractor looks good Bob. Is the steering wheel an original (agents) wheel, or have you rebuilt it yourself.

    Fuel Starvation on my TEA20

I also experienced similar porblems on my TED-20 with starvation. It appears that my in-line filter was the culprit. It was a brand new filter, and I also had o flow from the carb bowl after installing this filter. I was at the stage where I would quite happily have stuck a (large) match...

Intoductions - Where is everyone from.

I'm from Benoni, South Africa, live on a 5 acre small-holding, and own a '55 TED-20. I also have my eye on a '48 TEA-20... just have to convince the current owner to accept an offer that neither of us really understand  The '55 is in running condition, but I hope to start a rebuild...

Thanks for the reply Jeff-oh I had already googled the data you sent me, but was hoping that there was somebody locally, or with local knowledge and perhaps experience of some dealers in the area. I'm waiting for replies now from those dealers who I have contacted.

    TED and TEA 20's

Good day folks Following on my queries re my TED 20, and the starting problems I had, herewith some feedback I managed to get the thing going, after much frustration, and completed the mowing of my bottom field. I noticed the oil pressure dropping off as the engine started heating up (it...

    TED-20 Non-starter

Right....!!! After many hours of scratching my head, pulling out what hair is left, and consulting my little black book of even blacker words, my tractor is running again. Bottom line is that at some stage before I got the thing, the distributor must have been rebuilt by the previous owner...

    TED-20 Non-starter

Good afternoon good folks After my intro In This Thread, I promised feeddback as and when I got the opportunity to try your suggestions. I checked the fuel valve on the tank and cleaned it out, ensured that there is a good flow of fuel through the in-line filter, and also opened the...

    New kid on the block

Guys, thanks for all the advice... just as soon as I get the opportunity I'll start checking everything that's been mentioned here. As I said yesterday, between the rain, overtime at work and some house renovation as well, time is a little in short supply. In the meantime, my field is...

    New kid on the block

Hi Bob, Tractor starts with a bit of difficulty, and runs on the rough side. It seems to lack power when I need it (pulling the mower / dragging small trees etc.). I'm wondering if it isn't maybe fuel starvation... been looking at it again and noticed that the in-line filter is empty...
