    VAC-14

Hey guys Are all VAC-14s supposed to be wide front ends? I have one that is a tri-cycle front. The data plate is stamped VAC-14 and has a s/n starting with 601XXXXseries. Since we are not the original owners I cannot verify if its all correct.

    VAC transmission/hyd fluid

Gentlemen, I normally don't maintain our VAC but now I have to. There is a square fill plug located on the left side of the transmission housing. I removed the plug and stuck my finger down in there and its low. Ours is hand labeled Hyd above the plug but I think its mislabeled and should be...

    vac hood prop rod

Does anyone have pictures of the prop-rod that installs under the hood of the VAC? I finally got the hood open the other day and noticed a broken piece of wood attached in the middle of the hood. I assume this was a home repair done sometime ago. Also with the rod installed, where do you locate...

    Washington County Md. Tractor Show

I will have to remember this show next year especially if CASE is the showcase tractor. I figured it would have been at the Wash. County Ag center not a personal farm. Its nice to see shows at the Maryland/Pennsylvania border.

    opening the hood

I need help trying to open the hood on my late 50s VAC-14. This hood has a paddle looking mechanism compared to a hood ornament style. I am pushing in on the top portion of the paddle and I cant get the hood open. Underneath the hood I can see the paddle operating the spring on the hood but I...

    VAC

Dont allow him to sell it for junk. If its that good of shape, keep it for someone that would use it or restore it. Its not too hard to find sheetmetal tinwork. I have seen alot of ugly used tractors still on farms working like brand new.

    VAC PTO Shield

Is it possible to get a measurement on the top lip? I want to use angle so it looks like 1-1/2 might do. And also hole spacing. It might be 4-3/8 or 4-1/2 apart.

    VAC PTO Shield

I have an original VAC PTO shield cover that has the mounting holes torn apart from the shield. I think there are just two carriage bolts that bolt the shield to the flat plate. I am planning on adding a piece of angle iron to the top. Can someone post a picture of the PTO shield maybe a rear...
