    Oliver hayrake on steel?

I took some shots now that it's off the trailer. It is 51 tooth high wheeled with double trailer wheels with Tedder option. Should be a 1-B model from what I'm hearing. If someone could confirm it that would be great. If someone knows the dates of production that is even better. Just looking...

    Oliver hayrake on steel?

I just bought an Oliver side rake on steel. I know what a #2 model looks like with the wind shield on the front. This one is earlier and I would think they called it a #1 but just want to confirm. I'm not finding much information about it. I saw a picture of one but it didn't have any model...

    jd 3 bottom plow

As mentioned it is a right hand thread. The old saying "Righty tighty" Lefty loosey" doesn't apply. Turn it as you would if you wanted it tight and it will come off. Most likely you have it pretty tight so it may require a little more force than originally required. Good luck.

    PTO tire pump variations

I searched the archives for my answer but didn't see one. I do know there are pumps for different size PTO shafts and one for the flywheel but what tractors do the different sizes fit. I got a odd box of stuff and there was a pump in the bottom. I've seen a regular one for a standard PTO and...

    scrap iron these days

Anyone know what unprepared scap iron prices are doing? I'll probably ending up calling a few places. Have a small trailer load of leftovers from summer projects. Hopefully not too high so more of my favorite rusty machinery doesn't get recycled like a couple of years ago when it was so high...

    Wheel barrow seeder

I've got a Star also. I hung mine up in the shed rafters with the ends and middle supported so as to not bend the box over time. Pretty neat old machines but I also can't imagine pushing it but I would be that the ground it was used on was probably firmed and harrowed a lot as that seems to be...

    Oliver cotton equipment

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has an Oliver cotton pickers or Cotton strippers. I just got one bought and will have it home this spring. Looking for some more information on the line. I'll end up getting the manuals from the Floyd County museum. If anyone has one I'd love to see a...

    Fox 2310 Chopper

Choppers are pretty cheap around Eastern Iowa. The livestock is really drying up and any cattle lots are using Deere self propelled and even those are fewer and far between. Haven"t seen many Foxes sold lately but some Gehls that were pretty solid wouldn"t bring much and a one I saw sell last...
