    Terra Track GT-30

Also does anyone know what these ran for a hydraulic pump for the blade? Any idea on flow/psi?

    Terra Track GT-30

Going to look at a Terra Track GT-30 tomorrow. Don’t have great pictures of it but looks like it’s got a fixed angle straight dozer blade (really wish it had a manual angle blade) it’s also got a (Factory?) winch installed which I gather was a fairly rare option. Do these winches run off...

    fuel or fool

It’s the same stuff but depending on your supplier heating oil may not have the anti gel additives that off-road diesel will because these days nearly everyone’s tank is inside in a warm (or much warmer than outside anyway) basement. So if your running heating oil and it gets cold where you’re...

    Sorting rocks

Not really sure where to put this question. I have a huge pile of spoils from a foundation excavation I did. It’s a mix of rocks from baseball to maybe 16” most anything bigger than that I set to the side during excavation. Soil is a lot of clay from the deeper part of the dig and sandier stuff...

    Case 1845C no start issue

Just wanted to follow up. Wire turned out to be broken about a foot back from the fuel shutoff solenoid. A real pain to work on without being able to get the loader arms up out of the way but I was able to splice it and get it running. I couldn’t find any sign of a seat shut off switch bypassed...

    Case 1845C no start issue

Ice in a fuel line could be possible. As for the seat switch thats a good thought does act like that, but that has been disabled for longer than I have owned it.

    Case 1845C no start issue

I’ve got an 86 1845C it’s been an awesome machine. Anyway I plowed with it two days ago no issues. I went to use it today and it started right up 27 degrees out. I did have it plugged into block heater for maybe 1.5 hours before hand. It ran for maybe 10 seconds at idle and I went to drop the...

    Vintage crawler vs Mini Ex

Thanks for talking me back to earth guys. I’ll keep saving for the mini and maybe some day I’ll add one of the little micro crawler dozers to my fleet just because I have always wanted one but understanding their limitations. I have never run a mini without a (fixed straight) dozer blade but I...

    Vintage crawler vs Mini Ex

I’m dreaming on adding another piece of equipment to my property. Currently I have a small Italian articulating tractor late 80s/early 90s vintage (Pasquali) cool little tractor, stout and stable, parts and info are a bear to acquire. 1986 Case 1845c skid loader. I love this thing near...

    To35 hydraulics

Well I bit the bullet and installed a new style pump, swapped my relief valve from the old pump over. It works night and day better then the old pump ever did. I was able to lift my 6? scraper blade with an additional 300lbs on it without it even slowing down. The only issue is that when I...

    To35 hydraulics

This “early pump” looks like exactly what I am seeing. Bob, I did read through that other post am I to understand that the newer pump is a replacement however makes too much pressure? Do I simply need to swap the pressure relief valve to a 2000psi valve (from 2500) or swap other parts as well?

    To35 hydraulics

Is a later style pump a direct replacement? I do not see an "early style pump" sold anywhere

    To35 hydraulics

My lift arms have never really had the power I thought they should but had enough lift to do what I needed to use them for so I have not done any trouble shooting. Recently they barely lift themselves empty and cant lift an implement at all. I just did a fluid change when I had to split the...

    Input shaft seal

Ok I got the new seals in and just about got it back together when I found the bearing on that lower shaft (the one that needs to be removed to let the gears drop down and pull the upper assembly) is bad I can't see the fault with it but it's got a sticky spot when spinning. This is the...

    Input shaft seal

Thanks for the help everyone everything is apart and just waiting on new seals to put back together. I was able to pop the smaller seal right out with a small inside jaw slide hammer I suggest anyone else doing this job tries that before a trip to the dealer. I believe the tool I used is an OTC...
