    thanks for the replies! I do a lot of mowing/brush hogging and the PTO part of the clutch is tired I do believe. And from from numbers on tractor, it is a 1968 model 2000. So it seems that the proper thing to do is split then order parts.. thanks all

    thanks for the comments! got the old girl scheduled in at the dealer for a new shuttle trans and torque converter.. gonna be pricey

    I seem to have a new development..... when the the shuttle lever is in the locked neutral position the hoe wants to move forward and when put into reverse, it seems to have the brake on which it is not. I will check linkage later today but I would appreciate any comments please.
