I purchased the DVD last year prior to doing a rebuild on my 640. I have had no problems using the DVD and I found it to be very useful. 640 water temp pickup removal
The two previous gentlemen have good advice. I would add if you have time is spray the fitting with PB Blaster or any good penetrating solvent. The main thing is don't get in too much of a hurry. I have had items that would not budge, especially if you know they have been there for years, and... -

brush cutter
There is one thing I have found in referance to keeping the brush cutter clean. I use plain old leaf blower to clean off the the cutter and the tractor as well. It works great and doesn't take very much time to do it. I use an electric one that may be a problem for some, but any kind would work... -

Question for Soundguy
The transmission, hydraulic, and rear end are all separate compartments. The hydraulic lines pass through the transmisson case and are sealed with O rings. There should not be any mixing of gear(80/90)oil or hydraulic oil unless there is a breech of one of the oil ring seals.
