Thanks David, I will have my machinist mill me out one of these gauges to your specs in the sketch. Great Job! You may be correct in something is bent with the linkages as I had to replace the position control lever with a new one. This is the one that looks like a dog. The old one would...- Warner

Thanks for the reply. I did use a 3/8" thick metal plate as a gauge between the lift arm and cover. This came from Big Deans instructions but maybe I should try to find the proper special gauge from a Massey dealer. I was really being careful to follow all steps and maintain the 3 Lbs. of pull...- Warner

245 position control problem
Does anyone know if the lift shaft splines need to be timed correctly to the inner lift arm (the one connected to the piston dog bone)or does it have a master spline? I know the outer lift arms have a master spline but am not sure about the inner arm. I have adjusted my top cover by the IT...- Warner
