    Stuck lug nut pic

Had the same thing happen on a dodge minivan. I drilled the stud out, the steel was pretty soft. A little tough to stay in the centre. Good sharp bits and work your way up in size, and take your time so you do not hit the rim. Then got a new stud and all new 1 piece nuts from the local parts store.

    We tied the knot

It is 27 years for Barbara and I, feels like it was just last week. That is until our girls remind us that they go back to university next week. We had the reception at a small community centre which had a community event almost every weekend all summer, so lots of extra people showed up who...

    1986 Case 2096 tractor info

My brother has one with about 6000 hours on it, all good so far. It seems decent on fuel, with decent comfort. Was told do not to leave it in reverse when doing stationary power take off work, not sure why. The line's under the cab can rub together and cause a leak that is not easy to find or...

    Bearing on m gleaner

We disconnected the elevator at the bottom and top clamp then suspended it with ratchet strap. There is a direction arrow on the unloading auger pulley to help with removal, we needed an air hammer to get it to move. Watch the clutch assembly ours had really sharp edges. I would check the price...

M2 Main shaft/pivot shaft bearings, right side

Sorry about that, the slip rings (electrician terms coming out) are/is the brush assembly. If i remember we had to go counter clockwise to free the pulley, and it took quiet a bit to get it moving, seemed to have locktite (red) on it. Now I am confused about right or left hand thread, not real...

M2 Main shaft/pivot shaft bearings, right side

The slip ring assembly is bolted to the end of the shaft 3/4" if I remember right. The bin unloader pulley is LEFT hand thread, we used an air hammer. The magnet is held with 4 bolts (1/2 x3/4), watch the plate behind it, as it has bloody sharp edges (don't ask how i know blood is a good...

    2096 shutdown

My dad has 2096, hooked the baler on and shut it off, put twine in and the tractor started acting up. With the override switch in the up position (enabled) the engine with turn over but not fire(no power to the solenoid). With the switch down (disabled) it will start and run and the dash...

    M-2 bearing

Just the elevator, not the auger, needs to be freed up so it can be raised up so the pulleys can be slide off. We supported it top and bottom with ratchet straps, split the chain, then pulled bottom bolts then the upper support bolts. The slip ring assembly is bolted to the end of the shaft 3/4"...

    M-2 bearing

Went to get the combine (M-2 #17052) ready for wheat and lost the bearing (agco# 71154722) on the right hand pivot shaft. Does the return elevator need to come out to get the shieve off? I assume the shieve is not threaded on to the shaft. thanks in advance.

Don't have manual yet, bean settings on M2

Basic settings Cylinder clearance 1/2", cylinder speed 600rpm, fan choke 5-6, chaffer opening 5/8", sieve opening 3/8", sieve height in front bottom of slot. We run with the door right behind the thresher rattle in the up position. I start with these and work from there, almost always end up...

    gleaner M2 in soybeans (problems)

Got a photo of the rake. We will see if it uploaded. I think it uploaded, it was not standard equipment even on the corn/soya specials.

    gleaner M2 in soybeans (problems)

There may well be some holes where they do not belong. As for the rake it is not shown in the operators manual, and I do not believe in the parts manual either. Its almost like some engineer made an oops then released the solution quietly so no one would see the oops. If it is installed it makes...

    gleaner M2 in soybeans (problems)

If I understand the problem correctly we had the same issue on our M-2. The stems are wrapping around the 1st raddle chain jamming the whole works up. Gleaner made an part that looks like a big rake, I assume your does not have one installed. It bolts in at the same place that the rubber skirt...
