    My tire guy doesn't carry the irrigation ones but has a similar price as you'd stated. I've never seen those in person so I'm not sure what they look like, are they the same as a normal tractor lug with the same look? My tire place said he'd order them in but if I didn't like the look of them...

    I found it, that's exactly what I want to do. What were the two switches for, one looked like an on/off toggle and the other looked like a push/pull.

    To be honest I have never open up a governor, or removed a fan shaft for the fear I have after some of the horror stories I have been told about working on governors. Are they really that bad? Especially in this case when I wiggle the fan shaft there is probably an 1/8 to 1/4'' play back and...

    If the shim gaskets are bad, which I'm guessing they will rip or be brittle and break in half like most gaskets I've dealt with. Can they be purchased as a set of just those or do I have to buy a complete governor overhaul gasket set?
