    Electrical update

    Yes , I did get the parts from this site. Electronic ignition , and coil. I also got the 12volt conversion ,alternator and such a couple of years ago , and it never worked as good as it does now. Next to build a cab and get ready for winter. Have had the wood stove running 2 nights now !

    Has anyone used a rear blade for snow removal ? If so what size ( 5' , 6' or 7' )is best and are tire chains needed ? Also , what brand ? Are TSC blades any good ?

    I think Sam is right , you might need a few Moulsons before buy-n this one. If no water in oil , engine is loose , it rolls . I'm thinking 2 fitty .......... probably will cost you that in rust-o-liummmm . LOL

    Oil slinger problem

    Took off the camshaft cover today to check the govenor spring. Found the oil slinger was looking strange. Not sure what someone has done , but I'm sure this is not what it should look like. Is this something that is needed ? Where would I get one ? Does anyone have one out there , for a TO-30 .

    I have taken the carb off , its new , and checked all filters and float level. It was clean , but the main jet has build up on it. Almost like rusting. Sometimes it will run perfect then it will start to sputter and the gov"nr trys coming in. This with NO load on it. I have a hill to test on ...

    :? TO-30 with over size pistons. Trying to set carb. But getting pulsing while running / testng . At idle it runs smooth as silk , 1/2 throttle and it starts to pulsate and the guv'nr keeps trying to come in . Do I need to adjust the linkage more ? Main jet is out 2-1/2 turn , otherwize it...
