    WD Shift Column on WD45?

    Can I replace my WD45 shift column and shifter with a shift column and shifter from a WD? The shift column on my WD45 is shot and I need to rebuild it, but I would like to use the WD shift column until I can fix the WD45"s. Thanks!!

    Will, Thank you very much!! Do I need to punch out that "dimple" from the inside to make room for the pin? Sorry for all the questions, but I just can"t seem to find a manual that illustrates the correct placements of the pins. Thanks!! wideerhunter (aka - Mark)

    Thanks for the information. I"m including some pictures of the column, transmission, and shifter handle. Can someone illustrate where those pins go? It"s hard to see where they go since there are none in it at the moment. By the way. I have confirmed this is a WD-45. Thanks much!!
