    Just got my 4020 pushed back together after complete clutch replacement. Lacks 7/8 “ from closing gap. We used longer bolts to get better alignment, got battery hooked up so we could turn to no avail. Think the Pilot wont drop in hole. Used alignment tool, this isn’t my first time but frustrated

    Trouble with JD 4450 rear crankshaft oil seal!!!

    They have changed that housing at least 5 times from. 4020. Just finished used that number seal and bought the housing to go with it. Seems good. That old housing has wrong depth for outside of seal to seat correctly. New one is 145 dollars

    putting in a clutch in John Deere 4000, so replacing the main seal right? well the new seal is the new style and John Deere told be to replace the housing and gave me a service bulletin with the number. Found a used one and it is only 1/16 thicker were the seal sets. Turns our that part has...
