    I really appreciate the responses, thank you all very much. I saved this tractor from a slow boat to China, like to get it operational again. I own a few VA series, but the 12 speed is a new venture for me. Thanks again.

    Wondering if anyone shed some light on someone... I have a Case 300 or 311 as the tag says. The clutch pedal is broke in 1/2 and the top section is missing. Would a clutch pedal from a 30 series (430/530) fit this tractor? Just trying to broaden my search area. Thanks.

    Very knowledgeable, he helped me on my 1550 as well. Pulled the original diesel off to build later and set a gas engine in for now. If John had not explained about the PTO shaft well.....
