We have all heard the term.... even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. Mr. Swann bought a brand new Case VAC14 as well as new implements to complement the tractor. That was 1956, growing up I remember him using his tractor when visiting my Dad, they were neighbors after all. Fast forward 40+ yrs.... Mr. Swann and his wife have been long gone for a while now. At the local antique tractor and engine show that I and some friends host, I was approached by Mr. Swanns only living son. After some conversations concerning his dads equipment, he ask if I would be interested in the implements, he only wanted to keep the brush hog, and the back blade to work gravel on his driveway. So I was fortunate to obtain these 3 implements which I will add to my Case collection. My plans are to hook them to my tractors at the local show, after all, many spectators are unfamiliar with all the duties a tractor can perform. I want it to be educational for the kids mainly, farming has slowly disappeared in my area, and it?s sad. I hope to make room in the shed for them, since they spent most their life in a building.
