    Super 55 engine knock/rattle

et on timing gears, overhauled everything on mine, didn't check the timing gears and have that same rattle. Time will tell how serious it is I guess. Definitely coming from the front of the engine.

    Multi-viscosity oils

Have always wondered if those multi-viscosity oils were really what they are marketed to be. All vehicles and tractors I have ever owned using these oils always have much more oil pressure cold than at operating temperature. Welcome your comments, Harry

    WD clutch

would add , starting in cold weather is much easier when hand cranking if the clutch pedal is propped down and it is a lot safer, if you accidently left it in gear you won't get ran over when it starts.

Are the two extra holes threaded, matching the bolts that hold the flywheel in place? Screw the bolts in and push the flywheel off.

    VAC Plowing Snow

inter in Iowa brings back some memories. Our chore tractor was a WD45 with a block heater and a real tight heat houser, a real life saver. Grundy Co. Iowa can be pretty cold, starting that Allis when it was -15 or so and having that fan blow heat in your face was a real treat.
