Ever heard of "Hammer Blow Co" trailer hubs/axles?

My uncle Phillip worked there in the sixties, he gave my brother some ball blanks to build a Newton's Cradle.

Is this for real? We saw it in the Rio hotel/casino in Vegas, I haven't ever heard of a HH Farm Works tractor.

How did you do in the comprehensive part of the reading reading tests they gave you in primary school?

    Massey Harris 50 High Altitude

Just my two cents, weren't factory LP tractors built with higher than regular gas models compression? If this was not a factory LP tractor, but is a "high altitude" model would the compression be just about right at a lower altitude for LP?

How much does a radiator re-core cost nowadays?

I took my WD's radiator to GlenRay a few years ago and was advised to get a new radiator online for about half as much money as he would charge. I took his advice and ended up back at his shop for him to "tweak" the top hose outlet because the new one wasn't in exactly the same place. Great shop!

    Finally got one DC AWF

The first DC I saw/drove was a narrow front with live power PTO and live hydraulics. The next one I drove had a wide front, I don't remember if it had live power. As I understood it at the time, the narrow front was a DC 3. What is a DC 4 and what is a "AWF"? I was 16 years old side raking hay...

    416 garden tractor

I have an Allis Chalmers model 416 garden tractor that the steering sector self destructed. The top and bottom bearings on the worm gear shaft have disappeared. I understand that this is a Simplicity tractor? The sector gear box has "Ross" cast into it. Any ideas anyone? X

Thanks for your replies, it sounded like it was an industrial tractor. There is a large winch on the back and a hydraulic pump mounted on the front of the crankshaft. The story is that is was on a ship, or some port.

Anyone ever hear of one of these? A friend has one and it needs a clutch. He says it has an 11" disk, and hasn't been able to find one locally.
