    Thank you so much!! The fan is cleaning fine so it is inside. The oil pressure is at 19 pounds. Something sounds like a sewing machine also. Which I am guessing are the valves that increase and decrease with RPMs. "To be reseated this spring." by dear old dad. The popping / crackling is...

    WHen I drive down a moderatly steep grade the mottor sounds like popcorn popping or a rock flying around the inside bottom of the motor. Oil Pump?

    If I am going down a moderatly steep grade the motor sounds like popcorn popping/or a rock being thrown around inside the lower part of the motor. Could this be my oil pump is bad? My dad wants me to tell all that the Motor does have enough oil checks it everyday loves his 9n.
