    Ford 340 loader operation

    Thanks for the link. Looks like 18,19, and 20 control float?(at least that the description of parts) Anyone know how this assembly directs fluid? Service procedure? I've got a tractor now that lacks float. I don't want to get it apart and then have a tractor that lack lift too. Thanks

    One other thing worth noting: If I push it all of the way forward, I don't feel any kind of detent that would indicate that I'm going past the "down" position to "float" position like the dozer.

    That's exactly how my dozer works. When I push this one forward, it just raises that tractor. Could there be wear in a linkage or valve that would not allow it to float?

    Anybody know off the top of their head if a ford 340 loader has float? There is a sticker on the right loader frame assembly that would seem to indicate it does but all I can get it to do is up/down. Just bought this little guy so I just don't know what it's "supposed" to do. I'm used to driving...
