Ford 5000 wont go in reverse
Put everything into neutral last night and took cover off. To me everything looked good. Not a lot of wear noticed anywhere. Hi/Low shifted fine.Everything from top looked good. Put cover back on and seems to shift into all gears good. Now I have to wait for my starter to get fixed so I can see... -

Thanks HTH, I am kind of a novice at this so what your saying is take the cover off where my feet would be sitting and take a look.Which way do those forks work? In/down/OUt etc. In other words when I put hi/low speed in Neutral and shifter in Neutral no forks should be on a gear right? So to... -

Ford 5000 wont go in reverse
Hi guys, I have a 1967 ford 5000 that will not go into reverse. It will go forward high gears but not low gears. In fact when I try low gears it wants to kill engine. Is there anything I can do to Identify problem? Thanks in advance for advice.
