Or a decoy purse with poison ivy.
And so do 100 percent of all consultants.
CONsultants are also good at stating the obvious. After being paid, of course. And so do 100 percent of all consultants.
And if you adjust the speed to scale, she just drove her Corvette faster than gramps will ever drive his.
I'm 75 and got my first (and probably only) Corvette @ 73. While I don't plan on any track days, I DO drive it...ummmm..."enthusiastically". The 6 speed manual puts the fun back in driving. And if you adjust the speed to scale, she just drove her Corvette faster than gramps will ever drive his.
When I visited the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, it was private delivery day in the lobby. It was sad and funny at the same time. Funny that here sits all these performance cars thay will never see above 60 mph, being delivered to guys on canes who needed help to sit down into their car. Sad, because all these guys worked to be able to afford this car, and won't be able to enjoy it to it's potenetial due to physical limitations of age.
If I set something down in the house, I can usually find it in the trash.
When I was twenty one A very rich mans son bought a 1973 corvette with a 460 horse 454and a 4speed trany roll bars set up to race sports car club of America, after he bought it they dropped the class it ran in he totally lost interest in it and sold it to me cheap cheap cheap after I bought it I found out I couldn't get insurance for it as it was classed as a race car. I drove it for a few days I don't know how fast it would go but was clocked at 160mph, decided i would kill myself if I kept it sold it to a 18 year old told him not to try to see how fast it could go, told his father the same thing, less than 2 weeks later he killed himself in it, wrapped it around a tree, never really forgave myself for thatI'm 75 and got my first (and probably only) Corvette @ 73. If I could have afforded something like this in my 20's I likely wouldn't be here.![]()
I had my heart set on a 68 camraro 327 4 speed. Had one smacked up rear quarter panel. Yellow with black stripes. I was 15 and dad said absolutely no way. Needless to say I didn’t get it. Would love one someday !I got my high school dream at 67, a 69 Camaro with a built 350 and a M21 4 speed.
