Things are all backwards.

When I was a kid chicken wings were the cheapest thing you could buy. Sometimes the butcher would give them to you for soup.

Now raw they're $7-8/lb and the pizza places charge as much as $15.

Bacon used to be the cheapest part of the ever tasty piggy. Now I can get loins for $2.50 and bacon is approaching $10.

Flank steak was a cheap cut now $12-14/lb and more.

The little potatoes now charge $4-5 a 500g bag. When we grew them nobody wanted the little potatoes. They went to the pigs. Everybody wanted the biggest potatoes.
