I have been having shortness of breath and dizziness for a few months.
So my primary care doctor had a bunch of tests done to see if he could figure out what was causing it. After having over a half dozen tests done,
Everything came back normal! But he told me that he was going to refer me to a cardiologist. So last week, I went to the cardiologist and he had reviewed all the tests. He said the same thing as my primary. “ Gary, I don’t see anything wrong with any of the tests results.” Then he said that I had two choices to determine what was the next step! He said I could just go home and see how things go in the next few months and if it continued to come back in or he could do a cardiac catheterization procedure and it would tell us 100% that it is not a cardiac issue, since all indications of my symptoms were pointing to a cardiac condition. I have always been a proactive type person not a reactive type person. So I said let’s do it and then we know for sure that it isn’t the heart. Well, I am in the hospital tonight because he had to implant two stents. So I guess I have dodged another bullet! As, I have told yall before, I had prostate cancer in 2024 but now I am cancer free, first bullet and now this. I can only say one thing, I believe that God has a purpose for me to be living! I don’t know what he wants me to do yet but I believe he has a purpose for me.
So if anyone has not given their life to GOD, I recommend that you pray about it, for he is the only way to everlasting life and he will prepare a place in heaven for you only if you put your life in his hands and believe that he gave his only son to die for our sins and if we believe in him, we will have eternal life in heaven with him. God Bless you my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Maybe 12 years ago, same symptoms you describe.
All the tests said I was fine, primary Dr said go see a cardiologist, gave me the referral.
Tried to make an appointment, month and a half out was the soonest they could get me in.
Could barely walk out of the factory where I worked one day, stopped at the ER on the way home.
They told me I had gas. When I asked why it only hit me when I even mildly exerted my self, they said dunno, but I had gas. Follow up with primary Dr.
Next day, I did. He said I told you to see a cardiologist, I said I was still 3 weeks away from my appointment.
He left the exam room, came back a few minutes later, said I had an appointment in a hour, go there. I did.
2 days later had 2 stents put in, was over 90% blocked.

Not taking away from the years they spend becoming Dr's, but I've decided they're just highly trained tradesmen(people). Very few know how to diagnose/troubleshoot, most are flowchart followers / part replacers. If you have one that really knows how to think, and is willing to listen, hang on to them.

I know someone that had no symptoms at all but had to go for some minor thing. During checkup they found his arteries were almost completely blocked so he got a bunch of stents. Big strong guy, did excavation work.

I died three times in Jan. 2020, it was due to a congenital heart condition that I knew about, that finally came to an end point combined with normal aging. I had no heart disease, or any indicators. I have been doing very well and keeping active with walking and work-outs. I am ready to go at any time, as I am saved in Christ's blood, but God has more for me to do here yet.

I was getting some tightness in my chest some years ago, walking uphill or stacking bales in the barn. Just thought it was the breakfast bacon talking back. In '14 we were in Germany visiting my grandkids. Touring a park with ancient breweries in caves, I got some chest pain like never before, neck and left arm. I could sit down for five or ten minutes and it would clear up, but start again with walking. Saw my doc when we got home. He referred me to a cardiologist. Catheterization revealed a 98% blockage in the LAD, the widowmaker, so a stent. One more further down the same artery a couple of years later. Last year a pacemaker and two more stents. Don't be a hero. If you don't "feel right" GET IT CHECKED.

Well, I am home now and I had Two stents put in yesterday! So I have to say again that I dodged another “bullet”. Some of you may not know that I had prostate cancer in 2024, I had to travel to Hampton VA to have a treatment called Proton Therapy. It’s a form of Radiation but it’s a different kind of radiation therapy. I have been cancer free
since October 2024. In 2023 I had a Doctors appointment and when I went to the lab for bloodwork I asked if they had an order for a PSA they said so NO so I asked them to call the doctor and have him request the PSA. Well I had cancer, had I not asked for the PSA bloodwork. My cancer wouldn’t have been diagnosed soon enough and my story would not be about being cancer free. But I am cancer free! In December last year my wife and I went on a cruise, while we were on an snorkeling trip, I became very short winded so after I returned home I saw my primary care physician and he had a lot of tests done, NO issues where from but he said I am going to have you see a cardiologist. When I saw him he said he didn’t see anything either. He said to me you have 2 choices one do nothing eif I have another issue come back in or he could do a cardiac catheterization and that would tell us 100% that it is NOT a cardiac problem. Well, you know the rest of the story, I dodged another bullet. He said it was a widow maker.
So remember that your body will tell you that something is wrong. I pray that each person that reads this post will understand and seek medical attention if you ever have any issues with your body.
God saved me again!

That's why I've switched mhe majority of my health care to the VA, and I've begun seeing an ophthalmologist with the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for an ;eyesight issue. These guys are on straight salary and can apply their medical expertise to the patient without having to connive about how much money they're bringing in.

Decades ago someone gave me(poor memory) a metal lapel button that says, P B P W M, G I N F W M Y. Please be patient with me, God is not finished with my yet. Perhaps I'll never realize why but. that must be true, I'm still driving my tractor after 1 open heart surgery W/ 4 bypasses. 4 extra-long stents 2 yrs later, cancer survivor, COPD, gall bladder removal W/septis, and 2 severe head injuries. I'll be 84 this year.
Hang in their brother, it's a great ride.
