And it's not even a nice shade of green. I have a Ford 640 that is painted like Moline. It came from a construction company and everything that they own is painted that color. It really doesn't look to bad!

Interesting you should bring that up.On a farm here in town there was never anything but green tractors. In later years a couple of foreigners slipped in,(Ford and Farmall),but they painted them green so they would blend in.Some of the daughtersand grandaughters are quite talented artists, and one of them painted this picture of the green colored Ford.It has been shedding it's green skin for a few years now, more so than when she painted this picture. This painting is hung next to my computer,I have a few she has painted of equipment, trucks, and spots around the farm.

Our neighbor had an Allis B with a belly mower that he mowed his lawn with. It was painted green with yellow wheels and John Deere B decals on it. He has long since passed, and his son-in-law and grandson both have houses on the property. Recently I went by there and saw the tractor is now parked as yard art.

I've seen way too many Oliver Super 55s painted Deere green with yellow wheels. Of course, I guess, if Deere had made a decent utility at the time, the Deere guys wouldn't have had to make their own to fool the neighbors.
