$1400 for a camshaft. Add in taxes and shipping.. May need to see P Diddy about borrowing a bottle or two of lube. And I don't mean assembly..

Can't spend 1400 for a cam will one from a 157 or 175 work

Should be able to find a used cam + followers and re-grind them for 1/3 the price .

Yea mule got it, bates corp is a place for IH stuff but not cheap. A while back I saw they had some NOS stuff . Guess how bad you need it.

May have one on the shelf. Left over from redoing my farmall 544 several years ago. will need to check the part number to see if it is the same for a 2544, C200 engine. In southwestern Pa if you're close.

One would almost think a kustom shop could turn one down cheaper? Maybe Isky or someone similar?

Really have no idea of price. Don't know for sure if it is the new one I bought or the used one. Was rebuilding the C200 in my 544 and on initial startup had no oil pressure, no oil to the rockers on top. tried a new oil pump. Then had a camshaft on order when someone recommended putting a pan of oil under the pump pickup with the oil pan off to see where the oil was going. Turned out the shop I used for the block and head work didn't have the cam bearings in from right direction - weren't on the camshaft journals right. Changed that and all has been good. Hate to think it has been probably 30-40 years ago!

Will check around for a price, but I won't be trying to get rich I know that. Question will be what it will take to ship it?$
