I just came from Canada (Central Ontario) down to central Georgia for work today. We were getting quite the heat wave in Canada already and I thought that was bad. But here in Georgia it's rather more of a shock to the system. Holy smackers. Don't know how you folks can handle it regularly.

And no let up in sight. The humidity is the killer here. Very oppressive. Like being covered in a wet blanket.

I have the same weather station as you, probably 20+ years old, had to get a new outside unit but the inside one just needs batteries occasionally.

We were in Chattanooga yesterday visiting the grandkids, 104°f at 5:30pm..... Renee and my daughter stayed in the house and cooked ....I went out and cut grass . ......

It hasn't hit 100F here in South Central Texas, but my area is still in Severe Drought.
