New to me MF 135 - need advice on getting it running

Ok, next issue to sort out is leaking power steering fluid. After mowing I've got power steering fluid leaking down from the "column" area. Can't see much to actually locate the leak and haven't taken anything apart to gain access yet. Power steering works fine and I can keep topping it off, but it will continue making a mess.

Any common issues leading to this leak I should know about?

It could be as simple as a tube or fitting leak. Hard to say what it might be until you clean it up and actually find where the fluid is coming from.

Does anyone have an oil filter canister, bolt, spring, and washer they would part with? Someone was very heavy handed with mine at some point and crushed the end of the canister inward. The seal under the bolt head now leaks because it's trying to seal on a large angled surface rather than a flat surface.

The bolt head, and underside gasket surface are all hacked up as well and it's missing the spring and washer.

I need a fresh start. Please PM me if you've got parts. The alternative is to move to a spin on conversion but I'd prefer to keep it period correct.

I may have the canister parts you need, I replaced mine with the twist on type. One of the bolt holes is broken where it bolts to the engine but all of the other parts are there. I can send pictures so you can see if it's what you're looking for.
