The one that doesn't go to the distributor.What terminal of the coil do I hook the jumper wire up to? One has a yellow (to alternator) and black wire and the other has just a black wire.
I had a 77 once upon a time that acted like that. Turned out the little nylon/plastic widget on the dist that the wire attaches to was broken. It functioned intermittently. gmMy Oliver 88’s distributor doesn’t get spark and the coil is working. My guess is the ignition wiring. Would this be the issue and how do I fix it? Forgot to remove the tape that was on it. Stuff has the consistency of paving tar!
Anyone know how to remove it?
