Farmall B rear wheel rim clamp bolts

I'm looking for the bolts that hold the rim to the hub. Four each side on the B, square head. Online I can find these bolts for other Farmall models, but none of them identify as being compatible with the B. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

The original bolts were machine bolts, 5/8 x 2-1/4. This is unless it has the heavy wheel option which requires 5/8 x 2-3/4. In either case, you probably have to find standard size bolts that are 1/4 inch longer. Any other listings you find for lug bolts should specify size.

We have worked on several B and BN tractors....most parts are easier to find if you look for Farmall A or super A parts. The original square head bolts are hard to find. We usually just by regular nuts and bolts. But .... McMaster carr would be a good place to look

I've bought square head bolts from McMaster for the front wheels on my Farmalls.

@Jim Becker supplied the size. 2 1/2 long will be more common. Google: 5/8-11 x 2-1/4 square head bolt Lots available but a lot pricier than hex head at a local hardware store. Once in the clamp you'll be hard pressed to notice the difference. I think all the Farmalls and many others that age use the same bolt.

Use a regular six sided bolt. Grind off two opposite corners. Then it will fit into the square recess just like a 4 side/square bolt would.Done that many times over the years.

OK! you got me to look at my BN.

Well the rear wheels are held on with grade 5 hex head bolts. Also it looks like when done (I assume it was me several decades back) the heads were ground on the high spots of the six head bolts to almost make them square.

Guess I forgot to hit POST as I wrote this a couple hours ago! At least DeltaRed was awake enough to post the solution.
