Fordson major clutch

Hello,
New to this forum, first post
Working on a 1956 fordson major
Tractor is split to replace clutch.
I've tried to post 2 pics.
One is from the shop manual showing a torsion spring in the bell housing which apparently works as a return spring for the release bearing hub. I have no such spring as you can see in the second Pic.
I have only one small spring on the bottom of the hub which is apparently stretched out and does not return the hub completely.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Does the pressure from the pressure plate serve to return the hub or should the spring do it on its own?
Should I replace the little spring on the bottom of the hub?

Welcome to the forums.

Spring #14 is the return spring and needs to be in place to pull the throw out bearing hub away from the pressure plate fingers.

Do you know where I can order this spring? Mine seems to be worn out and does not pull the hub back adequately. Thank you

Use the part numbers shown in the Mayhill ad to web search with. Check with a New Holland parts department.
