County line rotary mowers for TSC

Anyone have any experience with this line of mowers. I need to find another one as the one I currently have is rusting out all over the metal deck. I currently have a Brush hog squealer which is not a heavy duty machine but it does what I need which is cutting high grass, weeds, first year trees and wild rose bushes. I'm thinking the County line model is equivalent. It could fit my budget. If these machines aren't worth the money then my next option is a used one, probably from an auction next year. I'm using an IH 300U for the brush hogging and the 5ft model I currently have is plenty for the tractor in tall and thick stuff.

I have cosidered buying one since they are about $2K less than everyone else. They are built by Tarter, I have one of theit 5 ft. tillers and it is built like a tank. The cutter, like their tillers require owner assembly and the gear boxes are shipped DRY. I prefer the round back models to the pointed ones. There are several video reviews on YouTube. I paid $2K for a 6ft. Bush Hog in 2007 and need to do some deck patching on it. A new one is around $4000 now.

I rebuilt a rotary mower; replace the decking and side panels with new metal, did the welding myself. Total outlay, approx $300 for material and supplies.
I did have the sheet metal sheared to my measurements at the same place I bought the metal.

I have two County Line , purchased from TCS
Both work good the decking on top is a little flimsy not heavy enough gauge
I also have a King Kutter its built better as far as the frame and decking
if i would ever have to replace one of the County LInes
I will spend a little more and get a King Kutter .

I also have the king kutter but in the finish mower version that would also tackle this. It has hit more concrete and rocks than I can count and it’s in its 5th season. It will mow a small tree and brush (I’ve attacked a 5 foot Norway spruce and the mower survived and I use it mow off cornstalks)
