Regardless of who said it, the replies have been for possible reducer sources; not an increaser as was asked for.I'm going to give the benefit of doubt that ss55 was referring to the equipment dealer!

SS55 was refereeing to a reducer from 1 3/4 to 1 3/8 the way I read it supplied by equipment dealer! Guess it's the way you look at it! Reducer/increaser are the same no matter what you call them!!Regardless of who said it, the replies have been for possible reducer sources; not an increaser as was asked for.
so, a 1 3/4" to 1 3/8" reducer?He wants an INCREASER not a reducer. 1-3/8 increased to 1-3/4
Here's this, I don't know how good it is though...Do they make a pto shaft increaser for 13/8” on the tractor to 13/4 on the pto shaft? Looking to hook up a hay tedder on my farmall M thanks
Which size and type (male or female) is the 1-3/4 and which is 1-3/8 makes the difference.so, a 1 3/4" to 1 3/8" reducer?
Yes, That looks like what he wants. 1-3/8, 6 spline female stepping up to 1-3/4 male, 6 spline. Here's this, I don't know how good it is though...
Is this something like what you're looking for?

I'm well aware of that. Just said the 1949 G came with a 1 3/4" PTO shaft and there is a reducer so the standard 1 3/8: equipment can be used with it. Some were saying it's a European thing but a JD G is definitely not European. The JD A's of the same age came with 1 3/8" PTO shaft. I'm not aware of anything made to increase the diameter. He wants to increase his Farmall M 1-3/8" shaft up to 1-3/4".
It appears Powered by IH has found a source for the elusive increaser.I'm well aware of that. In this case I would call it an increaser. The increaser would be 1-3/8 female on his Farmall M stepping up to 1-3/4 male for the tedder drive. He wants to use the Farmall M (1-3/8 male shaft) to run the tedder, which has a female 1-3/4, 6 spline yoke.
Reducer would be 1-3/4 female on the tractor shaft down to 1-3/8 male to drive the implement. That is what the JD GM or the Unimog (which Brendon-KS mentioned) would use to hook to a standard 1-3/8 6 spline PTO shaft.
Finally found a source:
Yes, That looks like what he wants. 1-3/8, 6 spline female stepping up to 1-3/4 male, 6
Look at what Jim says right here, in the same exact post you quoted:reducer could be a 1 3/4 female down to 1 3/8 female!!
He is on the same page as you!Reducer would be 1-3/4 female on the tractor shaft down to 1-3/8 male to drive the implement.
Yes, whatever brand the machine is, the OP should try contacting that brand of dealer.I'm going to give the benefit of doubt that ss55 was referring to the equipment dealer!
From the implement side I guess it would be called a reducer, from the tractor side it is an increaser, LOL Either way the adapter connects a 6 spline 1 3/8 inch diameter Tractor PTO shaft to an implement with a 1 3/4 inch diameter 6 spline implement power shaft.SS55 was refereeing to a reducer from 1 3/4 to 1 3/8 the way I read it supplied by equipment dealer! I hadn't ever seen an adapter to go this direction but now I have. Thanks! Here's this, I don't know how good it is though...

At one time there was a European standard of 750 RPM.From the implement side I guess it would be called a reducer, from the tractor side it is an increaser, LOL Either way the adapter connects a 6 spline 1 3/8 inch diameter Tractor PTO shaft to an implement with a 1 3/4 inch diameter 6 spline implement power shaft.
Could be worse, I'm a little surprised a European implement does does not use a metric shaft size or a different RPM..
