Draining the PTO on a B or C

When draining the transmission oil, will the PTO oil completely drain out thru the center drain plug ? It is at a lower level and appears that it would if left open long enough. Thanks for all replies.

No, There are oil reservoirs in the rear end. There are 3 drain plugs all down the center from the transmission all the way back to under the pto housing. Drain all 3.

Then the PTO gasket comes up about 3 or 4 inches and holds a pool of oil to the rear in case you are going down hill.
