  • So I’m working on taking apart my 1945 John Deere Model A, but I have a question how do you properly remove the connecting rod bearing from the connecting rod and cap without damaging the connecting rod?

You have posted your question in the "profile" section of this site where very few people will see it, I dunno why this option even exists.

You need to surf over the the DEERE Board, https://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/forums/john-deere.18/ and ask your question.

That being said, does your tractor of babbited rods, or rods with a "precision insert"?
