    What is the largest plow I should expect a 850 to reasonably pull? Can it pull a 3 bottom or is that too much? Thanks for any feedback.

    Bush hog RPM???

    Can anyone tell me what is a good rpm to mow at? I'm just curious because I have a working proofmeter for the first time in many years. I have always done normal easy mowing in third gear. It's a Ford 850 5 speed. Thanks

    Ampmeter question

    Just got done putting my Ford 850 back together and all seems to be running fine except the ampmeter indicator is running a little below the zero and it looks like it's discharging. Have run it about three hours so far and all seems fine. Any suggestions as to if I should be concerned about...

    Ford 850 steering gear oil question

    My 1956 850 with standard steering has a fill plug at the base of the shaft on the top of the gearbox. Can anyone tell me what oil goes in it and what the capacity is??? I've owned the tractor for 15 years and never even noticed it before but wanted to make sure it was properly filled. Thanks

    Does anyone have the name or number for a guy in Cuba NY that has a Ford graveyard and sells parts? I've been to see him a few times years ago and always got what I needed. Unfortunately I cannot locate his details. I think his name was Schaeffer and he was on the Rawson Road. Any help????
