68 580 ck steering
I"m pulling my hair out and I ain"t got much left . I brought home a 68 580 ck with a frozen motor about a year ago . When I pulled it out of the weeds you could steer it . Sat most of last winter . I could not get the motor free"d up , but thanks to Gus Brats I got another 159 gas from a 530...- Coffeecreek

stuck 159
Bought a 68ish 580 ck with a stuck 159 gas from the weeds last thanksgiving . Towed out , hauled home and started soaking ( blaster , acetone /trans fluid , kroil , anything I had around ). Spring came , still not free'd . No problem , took axle loose , pulled pan , sleeves looked nice . Tried...- Coffeecreek

159 gas in a 580 CK thermostat
Tearing down a stuck 159 in a 580 CK . Took upper radiator hose off and found thermostat just sitting there . Is there supposed to be a spring or something to hold it down onto the casting ? Thanks in advance .- Coffeecreek
