    TO20 original carburetor number

    I have a 1950 TO20 and need to replace the carburetor. Mine is apparently off a Ford N type as the number is TSX33. My serial number is 21387 and it is a marvel schebler. 2 3/8 center to center on the mount studs The Ferguson number should be something like TSX????? Thanks...

    I need a replacement carb for my 1950 TO20. Amazon has a MDARIC HD for $89. Has anyone used one of these and what are your thoughts. Mine is not worth the total rebuilding cost that is why I am looking to replace.

    Polarize battery

    So I have looked everywhere and cannot find this simple information. When you polarize the battery is it done with the engine rumor not.? If not is the switch 9n or of? Or does it matter? Then how can you tell other that the spark that it is done! Thanks.

    So I tried to pull start my Ferguson. First second and third gears are locked up. Fourth gear will turn the motor over. Do I have something broken in my transmission?

    Need help on 1958 cub. Dies without choke.

    So my cub would not start after sitting all summer. Pulled the carb Opened it soaked in cleaner for two days. Now it will start but dies the second the choke is shut off. I did not drain all the gas as only little was in the tank. Put about 1 1/2 gal of fresh in. Thanks for any help

    6 volt wire??

    So I have heard there is special 6 volt wire that was used on spark plugs back in the day. My two older tractors have modern wire on them. Does this make a deference? Thanks for the help.

    Short to ground?

    I have a 1950 TO 20 Ferguson that will not fire or turn over the engine. The battery showed 6 volts until I turn on the switch.     Duel setting on MF245

    Can I use a dwel tack on my 245, and what would the setting be. I found nothing in the shop manual for this. It just says set the unit at 8 degrees before top dead center and turn distributor till points open.

    Looked all through my service manual but could not find it. All four cyclinders seem to have 15lbs. They read 15 on first and 45 on fifth cycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
