What is this device used for?

I purchased fenders for my TO20 at a sale. They have a fitting on the mount that I have never seen. Can someone please tell me what they where used for. I suspect some type of implement mount.

Just looked at a old video. Could these be whether arms for the factory front loader mounted?

It's to adjust the arms to set your plow. Every tractor has them.

Her '50 TO-20 does not have them and I just sold a Wagner loader from a 2N without them and a Dearborn loader from a 9N without them.
Keep looking is my answer.

Yes I agree not for plow. I have used my double bottom without them many times. I do have trailing arms which connect under the axel many times. Also they are not for the loader arms. I found a picture which shows the arms on another mount.

As has been posted. That would be the rear mounting bracket used with a Model 19-21, Dearborn Farm Equipment loader. The loader frame sits over the loop and a pin goes through the loader frame and the loop making the connection. There is of course another, matching, bracket on the other side of the tractor. These loaders where sometimes called "Jungle Gym" loaders because you had to climb over the back of the tractor to reach the seat. Not so bad in the summer but in the winter when I have insulated coveralls and snow on my boots one has to be careful.

I have one on an 8N that gets used on a regular basis. I use mine without the trip bucket for lifting and moving heavy objects. Without the bucket, the steering is not heavy unless you are actually lifting something.

I took some pictures today. I noticed you have an extra plate that the fender bolts to. I wonder if that is an option or farmer added?
