Governor housing toast?
Bought a used governor recently with hopes of changing out the welded up housing on my 1951 8n side mount. Looked like a reasonable project for a 70 year old newbie .....when I pulled the centrifugal assembly out the inside of the housing was deeply scored.....Im guessing the balls with MANY...- papapap2

Tire question?
I sure this has been hashed over here before many times but here goes....will 13.6 x 28 ag tires work on an 8n (1951) or are they too much for this tractor ? They are loaded with CaCl but the $300 price is tempting. My guess is each of the tires is pushing 700 lbs plus ...not sure if someone...- papapap2

Valve job dilemma?
After several weeks of soaking, tapping, coaxing, and waitingIwas finally able to free up and remove the valves and guides from my 1951 8N side mount. As you can see all eight valve guides had seals on them. Also I.discovered adjustable lifters but no valve rotators ( I can live with that!) Just...- papapap2
