    I.H 784

    Hi I'm having a problem finding the engine model number on my 784 I believe it begins with a letter followed by three numbers its an 84 series does anyone know where to locate it I need it to find replacement parts for the engine rebuild I believe. Thanks

    I.H 784 won't start

    Hi all, have a problem starting, have already posted about this on the crankshaft bearings problem thread but thought I should start a new thread, after sorting out the bearing problem, it seemed to be a new starter motor needed,so replaced it, but the engine only turned over slowly a few times...

    Crankshaft bearings

    Hi, I have a problem fitting a crankshaft bearing in my I.H 784 tractor, when I fit the new bearing & tighten it to the specified torque the engine will not turn, I put the old one back on & it does the same, the crankshaft can be turned by hand when the bearing is taken off, can't see...
