2N with loose gear shift
I have a 2N with a loose gear shift. I pulled the boot up and examined the pin for the shifter. The end I can see looks like the tip of a flathead screwdriver. Obviously that will get replaced. My two questions are; 1) Can I simply put the tranny in the neutral position and pull the shift lever...- Baumanm

8N Side-mount insulation points.
Two questions: 1.) I have an 8N side-mount that I rebuilt recently. No spark beyond the cap. Points, cap, rotor, condenser and coil are all new. Ran the typical tests recommended here, but still cant get spark. On a suggestion from another site, I eliminated the post on the side of the...- Baumanm
