    Smart kid OT

My youngest son is seven. I took my family out to dinner today, and the restaurant had a kids eat free offer. The only meal on the kids menu was chicken fingers and fries. Never mind the fact that he would eat that every day of the week if he could, he was upset that he didn't get any...

    1st. timer...LVLP or HVLP?

Going to do my 1st. tractor paint on my 961. Tin was done by previous owner so the rest is up to me. I understand the prep is the biggest of the job and will do what needs to be done. My question is....LVLP or HVLP sprayer? Not going to do many jobs with it. The tractor and maybe a trailer here...

    Oil pumper

I have a white 2-85 with a 354 Perkins diesel motor without a turbo. I had it hooked up to a swather I was working on,it was idling for about 45 minutes well to my dismay it was pumping oil into the muffler and back down on the block once I gave more rpms it quit. That motor has about 6600 hours...

    303 A/C Baler Needles

OK, I know it's a bit early, snow on the ground, more coming, gonna freeze again, but I'm getting nervous about this years hay crop. Last spring I picked up an A/C 303 square baler. After some hugging and loving and a few parts, I got it going and it even tied!!! However, with 50 feet left...

source for krause 410 disc harrow parts

I have a beat-up disc that needs 3 new axles and 8 bearings. These look like 1-1/8" x 5' round axles and I'm having trouble sourcing them. Based on some googling, I believe this is a Krause 410, with serial 4062. In case anyone can cross-reference this guess with a parts list for that...

    Tanning hog hide

I have a fairly small piece of hog skin I would like to tan. I have done a goat hide years ago with Borax and Neat"s foot oil, but I am not sure that would hold up this time. I have this idea about wrapping the hide around my boat oar where it rides in the sculling knotch.

    OT Streaked head turtles

I did some more searching and found out they are called "painted turtle". You can't even fish for the turtles eating your bait. Looking to thin the herd. I would rather eat turtle than fish anyway.

    Briggs model 14

It is the two wheel model. No good place to put a battery. But if that is what I have to do to be able to play with it I will.

    Briggs model 14

I picked up a David Bradley yesterday that has a Briggs and Stratton on it. Best I can tell it is a Model 14. I sanded the points but am not getting fire. Can you test the coil? Other than the finger test? Does anybody know of a good place to find parts for such a beast? I was told the engine...

    Tagging camper (no title)

A friend has a camper that he got for free but it came without a title. Been so long since it has had a tag on it and changed hands so many times he can't track it back that far. I thought he might be able to get a tag for a homemade trailer but don't know what or how much he would have to do...

    Skeleton (more pics)

I was wrong. I thought snakes were invertabrates. Ain't the first time won't be the last. My wife said something about taking it to a vet and see what they say. Looking at the pic of the cat John M posted, I think that is what it is.

    Skeleton (more pics)

Sorry I didn't think to put the tape measure by it for comparison the first time. I know snakes don't have skeletons but I don't see anywhere this thing had any legs. No hip bone.
