    TO-35 Lift

I think what you are experiencing is the normal action if you are equipped with a single stage clutch. A double (2 stage) clutch allows the clutch to release when the pedal is depressed part way, so you may change gears without dropping the lift. Pedal depressed all the way also lowers the lift...

    Oil flow direction on Z134

Thank you Steve, and I think you are right. I cleaned the small hole again (in the oil filter pad) and blew it out. I spun the engine again and sure enough, I got oil. Very happy needless to say. Now I can finish putting it together. I was pretty sure that John (UK) had said on here a long time...

    Oil flow direction on Z134

I am checking for oil pressure on my Z 134 since in it been in a partial stage of assembly for so long. The engine is now together except for rocker assembly, manifolds, spark plugs and oil filter. I spun it over for a few seconds and got a good oil flow from the port on the side of the block...

Thanks Tom. That solves my problem. The picture would still be great if you come across one.

    Rocker arm assembly

Just a question......Does the rocker shaft "free float" within the rocker stands, or is it stationary so that the oil holes stay at the bottom? If stationary, what keeps it in place? Thanks

Hey guys. As I posted a few days ago, I am slowly doing an in frame overhaul on my TO 35 gas burner. I had some oil pump issues which you guys helped with, and with finding a good side over, that issue is all resolved. I have the pump and new main bearing back in. Also have the center main...

School me please on packing oil pump....

On the concept of packing/priming the oil pump with Vaseline, please give me some detail. Do I simply fill the gear area and put the plate back on? Or do I fill the pick up tube and internals? Or?? Any abc"s/ 123"s instructions on how to do this? Thanks! (Z134)

The screws on this one are countersunk. I can turn it 180, but over. Do you remember anything about this small machined are that I referred to? Thanks, Ron

    Z134 oil pump

Thanks Dan, the notch is what I was looking for also. I am accustomed to old Ford motors which always have a notch on the front of the piston. I guess these are ok either way from everyone is saying.

    Z134 oil pump

Thanks Steve. The plate does have heavy marks inside from the gears. I am hoping these do not affect pressure. The machined area that I mentioned is about a half inch by half inch, and only to the inside. It is also offset from the center a bit. I can rotate the 180* and it puts the mach area to...

    Z134 oil pump

Hey guys, I haven't posted here in quite a long time, but do read at least every couple days. But now I have a few questions. I am doing an in frame overhaul in my TO 35.
