    ok, i resoldered the wire back on my warning light and soldered a prt# 271-132 resistor from radio shack across the 2 light terminals and it still wont charge and light stays on .i then unsoldered the wires and connected them together and it charges again . basically i have not had the problem...

    replaced a (c123)354898r3 block with a 354898r2 block.i noticed that the r2 block does not have a dipstick tube in the side of the block like the r3 does. how do you check the oil in a r2? thanks

    i am pretty sure this is a newer model tractor maybe 70s.i think i read somewhere that the alphabets in the casting dates started over somewhere in the 70s. i found a replacement block for 500.00 is this in line or should i just buy a short block..thanks

    i have a 140 farmall that has a cracked block that needs to be replaced.the numbers i found are C123 14315 5-19-A 354898R3. WHAT YEAR IS THIS? was this block used many years?
