    Zetor Tractor

Looking for an opinion on Zetor tractors. While all opinions have value, would prefer to hear from someone with experience with this type of tractor.

    Hydraulic Filter

The 3-point arms quit lifting on my tractor two weeks ago. After several hours of troubleshooting in my "spare time", I believe I finally discovered that the problem is simply a bad hydraulic filter. Once I removed the filter everything began to work again. Seems simple enough, except I...

    Employment History

Anyone have any recommendation or experience with employment history checks? Looking for a reputable company to go back about 20 years. Funny how things you thought you'd never forget get fuzzy with time!

    3-point Adapter for Skid loader

Anybody here use a 3-point adapter on a skid loader? I have a 3-point post pounder that I"d like to use on the skid loader. I don"t know if it's the right choice. Any feedback?

    Tractor Manual Concerns

Hate to bring this up knowing how some of you are about spelling, but... I know these manuals are probably being printed at someone"s house, but you would think they"d at least try to spell the name of the tractor correctly on the cover! Makes me question the quality of the information.

    Murphy's Law stikes again!

Looks like he struck your spelling, too! (See title.) It takes the "downs" to make us appreciate the "ups."

    Skid Loader Attachment

I"m not familiar with the electrical connections on skid loaders. Looking at a Bobcat attachment with, I think, a 12 pin connector. My skid loader connector only has four pins. Obviously they won"t connect as is, but can they be adapted to work together?

O/T Not teaching cursive writing in schools anymore?

If they can"t write cursive, then they probably can"t read cursive. So all they"ll know about the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, or any other historical document is what someone else has "translated" to them. They"ll never know first hand what is written...

    New Idea Hay Rake

Unfortunately, the chain disappeared before I rediscovered the rake so I have nothing but the sprockets to go from.

    New Idea Hay Rake

I know there are hay rake rebuilders on here, so this should be an easy question. I need a chain for what I believe to be a New Idea hay rake. It"s the type with steel wheels and the sliding gears to change the direction of the rake action. Is this the flat type chain and does anyone know...

    Daihatsu Mini Truck

Got a Daihatsu mini truck that is one of the most useful tools on the farm. Recently it has been running poorly in anything but first gear. Shift to second or third and it bogs down and dies. It also gets hard to get started again. Let it sit awhile and everything works fine until it gets...

    Hay Rake Drive Chain

Thanks for the replies. Don"t know the size yet. From the pics I"ve been able to dig up, my best guess is a New Idea. I"ve got some reddish paint on the gears as well as some green paint on the frame. No idea if those are original colors or part of Dad"s touch-ups. He was a Deutz operator...

    Hay Rake Drive Chain

Pulled an old hay rake out woods this week. Everything seems to work except that it"s missing the drive chain. From what I can tell, I need about 4 feet of chain. I"ve only been able to find chain in 10 foot rolls. Anyone know where I can buy implement chain by the foot?

    Briggs Starter

I have an older mower with a 12 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. The electric starter turns the engine, but kicks out just as it"s about to start. Any ideas?
