    front fenders

FANTASTIC, I have spent a couple days off and on looking at trailer fenders from Fleet Farm and Northern tool. I am just not smart enough to visualize how it would go together, but with your pictures that helps a lot. Thank you so much!

I love it!, how does the rear end hold up to all that horse power and RPM's? I would call it Franken-tractor.

I would love to see your F12. My only memory of an F12 was that if my dad had a big full load of beans on the old flair box trailer, the F12 did not have enough gumption to pull it up on to the road from out in the field.

    When was my F-20 built?

I am working on an F-20, but the serial number tag is missing. Is there another way to figure out when it was originally manufactured?

    Fixer upper

I like your take on things Bill. It is also possible that the cast iron steering wheel sprained his thumb crossing a spring plowed field, or the hand crank snapped his arm just above the wrist after a loud backfire and left him aching in pain, at which he decided to park that SOB and never...

Super A Industrial Restoration is done

It looks fantastic. I for one do not care about the pedigree. I think a restoration should make one man happy, and that is the guy who does it. 11 months, 600 hours...if you say its done right, then by GOD I agree with you.

    Fixer upper

Every time I see an old tractor, no mater where it is I always imagine what it would like when I got done working on it. Except this time. I think this one is exactly where it belongs and looks exactly right. For my job I drive up and down highway 169 in Iowa on a regular basis. I have seen...

    Cables make the difference

I have a 1941 H with a 6 volt positive ground system that does nothing but go to a few tractor rides and parades each year. It has always be sluggish to start. And very sluggish if its 30 degrees or less outside. I have known forever that I should put on thicker battery cables to improve the...

If your tractor starts with a crank...

I found a website that let you pick color, font, size of decal. There are dozens of those websites to choose from. I have also used ABC Signs in Des Moines to make magnetic signs and decals.

If your tractor starts with a crank...

I had to come up with some way to start my 1929 Farmall Regular. Over the winter, I developed some bursitis in my shoulder, and there are days when I just don't have the strength to get'er done. I have seen all types of contraptions that use the belt pulley and the PTO. I have also seen...

M starts, runs great, then sputters like its gonna die,

1951 M sputters and spits. Sometimes it is like someone shut the switch off. Other times its like it is flooding out. I have checked all the wiring and cleaned the fuel lines and carb. Anyone have any ideas? When I tap on the carb sometimes it helps, others it does not. If anyone can...

    Farmall M

Where do you get a muffler like that? If I had one of those, I could get into a couple of my sheds without stopping to take the muffler off before busting it off.

    Be careful Kids

As an ER doctor in rural Iowa, I know a little about farm accidents. The number one cause of farm fatalites nation wide is associated with the operation of a tractor. Over 70% of those are caused by roll overs just like yours. In the last 30 years of practice I have seen several that did not...

    M Farmall

Congratulations on your purchase, it looks pretty nice. I had an H doing the same thing. Sounded good under a load, but sputtered when not. I took it to a real mechanic after messing aroung with it myself for a month. He replaced the bushings on the distributor and the problem was solved.
