Thanks Aaron, I'll give it a try. Everything looks good as far as the gears go. I would imagine in time the spacers and shims will wear closing the distance on the housings. <E>:D</E> -

Thanks Aaron, I removed some shims and the gears look like they mesh nicely. Is there an accepted gap between the upper and lower housings? As a result of removing some spacers and shims the housings are closer but I still have approximately 1/4 of an inch or less between them. Will the seal... -

I managed to get the key out today, just stubborn. Also noticed what looked like some needle bearings are totaled and a set of gears are pretty roughed up. When I get the parts manual I'll give you ring. Thanks Bob -
