    Grandsons plowing

It’s been a long time since I posted , much has changed but I think I got it figured out. Two of my grandsons joined me at the MN State plowing contest. They did great for not having drove either tractor until the day before the match. I couldn’t post the video I wanted as I was told they were...

    Case clothes

I know the shame Don, LOL. We have three daughters married to JD farmers, all I see is green. Kids keep telling Grandpa he should get a newer green tractor, I have to explain in a nice way When Hell Freezes Over, LOL.

Nice Job! The hydraulics make for smooth plow operation.

    What do I do next?

After the tractor is running it is common for the sight glass oil to look like that. When ever the engine is running the four speed gears are turning and churning some air into the oil. The problem you are describing might have nothing to do with your hydraulic oil condition. Further testing is...

    ACG Project

The little tractor has impressed me with it's snow removal abilities. All the snow we have had this winter I have only used my 1370 and 8 ft blower once.

    ACG Project

During this project I kept thinking of Loren. He was a master craftsman and would have used steel for his cabs. I am not a master fabricator working with metals nor with wood for that matter. Using only straight gain ash and patience I am pleased this turned out very good. Plexiglass in all...

Re: 970 powershift, pressure, PTO, brakes...

With no pressure in the PTO circuit but still the PTO turns means you have friction in the clutch pack, normally this is caused by warped clutch discs. I have seen them bad enough they can pull a pretty good load, Rod.

2096 3pt internal rod broken again

CASE did have a external relief valve for the early 20-2290's. The cable used to cancel upward 3 pt movement would stretch and the same damage would occur as you have. When your 3 pt is raised to its max height you should be able to manually lift your hitch arms a inch or to yet. If you do not...

    case 1070 power shift

With the tractor split it now is a excellent time to inspect the power shift. The stuck spool in the control valve could have caused damage to a clutch pack. Use a service manual from Case and you will do fine, Rod.

    Case VAC film

I have a wide variety of Case tractors and enjoy them all. But the VAC was my first and still does it's jobs very well, damn proud of the little tractor, Rod.
